Sir Alex Ferguson has hailed veteran Manchester United star Edwin van der Sar as the best goalkeeper in the Premier League.
Van der Sar has endured a difficult season with the champions, first breaking two fingers in a pre-season game against Bayern Munich that ruled him out for two months. Read more

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has been linked with moves for plenty of different keepers over the last couple of weeks. French international Hugo Lloris has been linked of recently, as have keepers from Germany and Italy but the one that caught my eye is Atletico Madrid’s David de Gea.

Reina is the best around – Torres

Liverpool talisman Fernando Torres has labelled team-mate Jose Reina as the best goalkeeper in the world.
It’s a brave statement considering Reina is currently second choice to Iker Casillas in the Spain national squad, but Torres is convinced there is nobody better than the Madrid-born stopper. Read more
