Yahoo Brings The World Cup 2006 To Your Mobile Phone

Yahoo is now bringing the round ball experience to your mobile for the World Cup 2006. I’m thinking this is a good thing as you can check out what is happening in Germany up to the minute on your mobile phone. Here are a few of the features you can expect:

The deal to “give football fans access to real-time match information, schedules, scores and commentary on this summer’s e tournament on their mobile phones.”
Mobile MatchCast ( a downloadable app) accessible on any new java type handset.

I’m assuming that the Mobile MatchCast technology will be a way to hopefully see snippets of every game, which would be great!
